Editor's Note: There is not a more cutting-edge issue today than the one that concerns the controversial recommendations of the DSM-V working group. The one that has gotten the most press, however, is the recommendation to drop the term Asperger's Disorder as a separate diagnostic category, and instead subsume it under the general term, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Since this is an issue that has enormous implications for those who presently carry the Asperger designation and their families, I decided to seek out the opinions of highly-experienced professional colleagues.
